There’s something about pirate themed parties and pirate costumes that always gets the attention. Everyone seems to love pirates! Part of the reason for this is that there is a hugely successful movie franchise that has been wowing movie audiences for years. You may have heard of it – it’s called Pirates of the Caribbean and so far there have been four installments in the franchise.

Of course the main character in Pirates of the Caribbean is Jack Sparrow – Captain Jack Sparrow to give him his full title. You can dress up as this character for a forthcoming party quite easily, as this is arguably the most popular costume you can buy in this movie range today. Unusually you can get a female version of the outfit as well as one that is designed for men. It’s not quite the same and of course it doesn’t have the distinctive beard, but it’s certainly a great choice for any female fancy dress costume.
